Default stereo upgrade

im looking into upgrading my HU and front speakers. im not interested in adding an amp or sub, etc...

what is the best set up i can get for around 500 and more importantly, does anyone in the cleveland area know of a good place to purchase/install

Check with PAS2KNUT on the Allegheny forum. He has very realistic ideas for the car that will not cost you a lot.

I agree, Jim (PAS2KNUT) will hook you up. He gave me great advice lastyear. I picked up an Alpine HU and Infinity speakers. What a big difference than stock. It's funny that you posted this, next week I am upgrading to duel amps and a sub. Under the guidance of Jim of course.

Ray are you using one of Jim's amp racks? I want to have his one with the fans installed to conseal the amp in the spare tire area so things will look cleaner......make sure to post us up some pics

Sure thing Tim. I am using the one that is flat and covers the entire back of trunk. I do not run a spare anyway. I think it is just like Jim's car, but no fans...yet. I am going to run 2 amps and a 12 inch sub in the tool well. Got some bling to put in too. That's a surprise.

yeah, i can't wait. when i get back from New Orleans next week, we will get on it. might be finished before SPEEDS. You should come down Friday night and hang.

yeah I'm going to have to get with him sometime to set it up where my amp in the spare tire well in full concealed and use the flat board w/ the fans....why aren't you using the one with the fans?
