Interesting idea. These are bizarre looking after being used to normal tires.

(Spike strips? No problem!)

Intriguing concept from Michelin. Solves a lot of the inherent tuning problems with a current pnuematic tire (most notably being able to seperate vertical stiffness/damping rate from lateral stiffness/damping rate). However, its still a working pipe dream due to weather problems (read frozen snow in between spokes), and other wacky characteristics. Some day it may be the solution, but someday it may go the way of the battery powered car.

It was a cool idea when it was released two years ago. Nothing new since then. Obviously there are some major flaws that are being worked out if its been this long without an update.

Could you elaborate a little deeper?
I am putting those on the S by next weekend. Then I shall be superbigfoot.

I only started to touch the tip of the iceberg.
