Update
I am up for meeting just about any time. What works for other folks?
I'm working at the Ohio State University at the Research Foundation as a Senior Systems Developer/Engineer. Basically, I'm a network admin. plus the all-around go to tech guy. If our helpdesk can't figure it out, it comes to me. That's what I get for working my way up from the helpdesk.
I have been using the S2000 as a daily driver since April 1st all the way up until last week when I bought a used Accord sedan for my daily-driver/winter car. I'm currently thinking of ways to rice up the Accord that would amuse me enough to take away the pain of missing the S2000 while it is tucked away in the garage.
You know what is sick? I am thinking of buying one of those network cameras and putting it out in the garage so I can check up on the car during the day. Isn't that sad???

Snow here? I thought up North. I will check the weather in a little bit. My S is stored for the winter, but I will drive it on nice days though. December 18th will be the one year mark and I have 2230 miles on it. My beater is an embarrassment, Joe don't tell any one!
I work for Nationwide and handle the disposition of corporate assets. Policy creation and enforcement of said policies.

That's because IT guys need a life outside of their job, and that's where the joy of driving the S2000 comes in. *just joking*
Right now, i'm currently in the Pre-Pharmacy program at the University of Cincinnati. I was in the 3rd year in the Mechanical Engineering program, but got really really bored and switched. I also work full time at the University in the Field Operations/Parking Enforcement division of Public Safety. I do a little of everything as sometimes you'll see me working the gatehouse at the Conference Center at 7pm, or you might catch me at 5am impounding cars and hunting down cars on the "hot list."
Because my schedule leaves me pretty much no time for a life, that's where my S2000 comes in allowing me to at least enjoy the time that it takes to drive to and from work and school.

Tine and I drove the S down to North Carolina this past weekend (about 1,300 mile round trip over 4 days). I was pleasantly surprised that it was NOT as uncomfortable as I was afraid it would be. My shoulder got a bit sore from the shoulder harness and there isn't a whole lot of padding in the seat bottom. Lucky for me, I've got some of my own!
Had the top down most of the way down and it was awesome! Nice sunny day driving through scenic mountains with beautiful foliage - it's the reason they made ragtops!
Unfortunately, it rained most of the way home, so no top down and it got DIRTY.
The lack of storage space, especially with the top down was irritating, but we could live with it, and the trunk swallowed a fair amount of luggage (a soft garment bag, a couple of small soft-side bags and other small assorted pieces (hint: pack your stuff in lots of small bags rather than a few big ones).
We probably won't use the S for many long trips, but I wanted to show it off to my brother down in NC.
The S is my daily driver. It now has over 11,000 miles on it and I've put about 2,000 of those on myself since I bought it used in August. I'm currently debating whether to get new wheels and snow tires or just get the tires. It would be a lot more convenient for me to change the wheels at home than to screw around with having to go someplace to change the tires 2x a year.
I have two jobs and neither of them are in IT! I work in Groveport as an operations manager for a company called DFS which is a subsidiary of Spiegel. We do all of the catalog/internet order fulfillment for Spiegel and Eddie Bauer.
I am also in the Navy Reserves, where I am the Commanding Officer of Navy Cargo Handling Battalion 13 (hence my vanity plates: CHB 13 CO) which is located in Gulfport, MS. Every month, I have to fly down to MS for a weekend, which is why I don't get to play with you as much as I would like. In fact, that's where I'll be this weekend.
As I look back over what I've read, all I can think is "Wow, what a blabbermouth!"
Hope to hear from others!
Eric

I've been to those wharehouses. About 4 years ago, was up to watch OSU beat the piss out of Michigan. The last home game before the Shoe's improvements. Went to the EB outlet sale. What an f*in zoo.
Go BUCKS!
ps - I'm in IT also, and I put Ewing in my profile, and people in NJ still don't know where it is. And a salute to Eric (and anyone else in the armed forces), without those who fight for all of us, we wouldn't have clubs like this.

Off Topic: If any of you in IT know of any entry level positions that are currently open, let me know. One of my buddies just graduated from OSU in computer science and engineering and is looking for work. TIA
