video from Rt 26 drive???
Jonas,
I can save the video in a wide variety of formats. The question then becomes, what format is good for you?
I can do avi using these codecs: Indeo, i263, Divx, etc...
I can do MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4 (DIVX).
I can also do MOV (Quicktime).
I originally did it in Real Video since it seemed like the simplest for everybody to view.
By Christmas I want to have the final version created which will include titles, a slide show of the best pictures, and of course the video footage.

Personally, MPEG (any version) is best. AVI is OK, too, since I have an AVI screensaver that I like to run. I can't tell you which compression types it handles, though; I don't think it's all that advanced. In general, I prefer formats that don't require a proprietary viewer, such as Real or Quicktime.
I'll be hanging out to see the final version! I assume there's more footage than just the twisties run that you already posted???

Jonas,
When I get the final version ready it will be available in some type of MPEG format. It sounds like you've seen the real media version so I'm not going to worry about converting that one to MPEG. If you haven't seen it yet, let me know and I'll put it in MPEG.
As far as footage is concerned, what you've already seen is all of the video I have, it will just be much higher quality. I was taking still pictures when the cars were sitting still and the twisties at the end was the only opportunity I had to shoot them in action. Maybe next time I can find a partner to bring along and shoot some footage while driving.
SKYS2K: just got your email, the video is on it's way.
