Went to the track for first time in S2K
Well I went to Tristate and that track is hard as hell to get traction with street tires.
Best slip...
R/T .... .191
60 ...... 2.432
330 ... 6.287
1/8 .... 9.455
MPH . 77.24
1000 . 12.163
1/4 .... 14.481
MPH . 97.56
I was trapping consistant 97MPH all day. Prolly would've got it down to a 14.2 seeing how the track was getting faster and the temps were droppin. Like I said this was out at Tristate.. Hope to make it out to Kil Kare before the season is over.

When he said track I thought he meant a real track... with curves

As for your 1/4 mile times, if you can get a good launch (<2.1 sec 60 ft time which should be attainable on stock rubber) 14.0 seconds is possible. As temps cool this fall, you may be able to see high 13's. Oh also, if you run some high octane race gas, you can usually get another .1-.15 seconds in the 1/4.
However, if it was me, I'd avoid doing too many drag strip starts on the stock clutch and drivetrain. The S prefers curves to strips.
