I had several people come up to me last night and ask "what's the next event?". As you can see from the "Schedule of Events" thread there is a NASA event at Gingerman Raceway up next on the calendar. However, for those who don't track their car, what's next? Does anyone have any ideas on something we can do next? Car shows? Rumor has it there is one in Mentor but I am unaware of when and where it is. Anyone from that area want to do some research? Anywhere else? Drive/picnic? P.S. Keep the next Route 26 drive in mind and on you calendar.

 

I should be up for Solon on Tuesday. Do you think they'd let me in?

 

Anything newer that 72 is not allowed in, and no imports. If you are not there by 4:00, it will a good walk to find parking. I tried to bring the S last year and was turned away.

 

. Jeff went a couple weeks ago with his NSX and it's a '92. . I got in last year late in the season when it was cold. Not too many cars there then.

 

Must depend on how busy they are. Also, I have not been to Annabelles in years. I used to go all the time since my fathers office is 5 minutes away from there.

 

I used to go to Annabelles frequently, I drove past about a month ago around 8pm it was mainly motorcycles and the muscle car crowd still coming in in small groups. Some imports used to come and park next to Annabelles later at night but I think it might be difficult to park S2K's in a group.

 

I know you guys were just here, but I'd like to at least mention this event. " ALL CAR CLUB NIGHT" Club with the most attendence gets a trophy. It's on Friday July 25th (6 to 10) which is hard to because people have to work.
The other event mentioned sports car show would be great also!

 

How about a friday or saturdday night run to Cuyahoga Falls for burgers and shakes at Swenson. There are a few nice back roads that we could take to get us there. Swenson is a drive in restaurant they have some of the best burgers in NE Ohio. Anyone interested in going can give me a call on my cell. The number is 216-832-6008.
