Default Winter update

My poor baby looks like it's got half of the salt in the world on it. I haven't been able to wash it off 'cause it's been too damn cold!!!

I've been pleased with the way the S has handled this winter driving deal...no cold drafts down my neck, no cold-induced rattles or squeaks, no pieces falling off. Nothing like my last convertible!

The handling hasn't suffered as much as I thought it would with the snow tires. It's a little tail-happy, but that's probably due to the 160 lbs. of cement mix in the trunk. It has handled the snow that we've gotten pretty well. I do try to drive a little more prudently (no VTEC in the snow!) and stay away from idiots in SUVs!

Happy driving!
Eric

My S has yet to see the rain, let alone the snow. I am getting S fever real bad now.

Every morning I walk through the garage (easiest way to leave after setting the burglar alarm on house), pass by the red s2000, scrape off the windows, and get in the beater '94 Integra.

That's bad enough 29 days out of the month; to come home on the 30th day in the beater, walk past the red S2000 in the garage on the way into the house, and then have to write a check for the monthly payment on the S is really torture.

I totally agree with Carmen on the merits of winter. And always remember: "snow" is a four-letter word.

I'm glad I have a beater.

What bugs me is that I have some upgrades to install like Rick's Clear Diffusers , a headunit with the DCI, a 5 channel amp and all new speaker wire. I'm getting some Focal speakers for the fronts and a sub for the trunk ... but it's too damn cold in my garage to even attempt to install any of it.

Tell me about it... I was planning on picking up the front spoiler and installing that about now, but my motivation is gone out the door with the temps in the garage.

And David, you did see a bit of moisture on the way to the Route 26 drive, right? Mmm, Route 26... I think I just depressed myself even more.

Hey now, does really dense fog count as wet?

It was nice in Cinci this Saturday. I sat out in the sun, had the heat on, and dusted out the interior. Even cleaned the seats. I felt like it was spring until I turned off the S and opened the door.
