I love the counter-clockwise runs, I'd be in for a whole day of ccw. I think the track feels faster ccw because you are going downhill for more of the straits (or coming out of more corners downhill). 1-11 is slightly downhill. 11-10a is slightly uphill, but 10a-10b is downhill, 10b-7 is all uphill, but those are all pretty much turns without your car pointed in much of a strait line, then the strait between 7 and 6 is now downhill, 6 to 3 back uphill, but again not too much strait, and 3 to 2 to 1 back to 11 is all downhil1.

I know someone will say that you start and finish at the same elevation so it all nets out, also, I'm sure if you timed me, I'd be faster cw than ccw, but I think that's just more experience cw.

If we can plan a get together Thursday, I'll head up that way then and just stay with some family in Kalamazoo.

 

Usually we just hang out at the track in the evening cooking, drinking & hanging out, not heavy on the drinking part. Usually we only leave the track to run to Walmart to pick up more supplies (or another bbq grill )

I'm sure this year will be no different.

 

Not going to happen for me. We will be on our way to S2kdays in Oregon.

 

I'll be floating in sometime Friday afteroon... have a cold one waiting for me... (because I know i'll be on cooking duty.. lol)..
