Gang, we have been shamed. My son and I were driving the S around tonight and ended up on Canal Rd. by Quaker Steak and Lube. There must have been 60 Mini Cooper's there!! It was very cool. Quite a sight, I must say. Given that the car has only been around a little while, (and I'm sure that wasn't the "national" meet), we need to get our little recruiting caps on and get more members. Jeez, if they can get 60 of those "little guys" there just from NE Ohio, we ought to be able to do that, eh?

 

Just keep in mind that the Mini is a bit more massed produced than our S.

 

Yea and 3 mini's take up the space of one S2K, so really they only had 20 S2K equivalents.

 

The Mini Coopers are like flies on horse s%$t down here. Any one get get one since they are cheap except for the S. Lots of used ones too.

 

I'm with OhioRacer, the list of names that we show on our NE Ohio s2ki's looks rather long. Just why aren't more of these people willing to be active, after all, they did sign up for this club?
How could we motivate these people? Wouldn't it be great to have a group that large get together here?

i agree. more mini's out there than s2000's...at least it sure seems like it when i'm driving around.
also, the list for the rt 26 run looks rather long..but how come we don't see these people on any threads here.
if you want to see actve, go to the toronto site.. meets, s2000 dating service, etc..etc... pretty crazy stuff..
