Default Another track day with the PCA

The porsche club is holding another track day at the sheriff's training course (36th and Air Depot) on the 12th.

bring the $20 fee and a helmet. you can go to www.warbonnet.org for more information.

I will be out there so I can try out my new dunlops and hopefully my springs, hawk pads, and SS lines too if i can get everything installed by then.

man i'd like to do it but would be emberrased if i slowed people down, or just plain didn't know what i was doing. I went to the first one and watched and i loved it but have never driven in one.Plus i don't have a helmet.

Don't worry about slowing people down -- there are only two people on the track at a time and you're not racing bumper-to-bumper.

You should definitely come out! That way I can buy your lugs How much? PM sent

The last one was my first time. The guy who runs it will ride with you and give you pointers so you wouldn't do to bad. Also i think they had a loaner helmet or 2 last time.

I read all over the board about messing up the dif launching the s. What were you guys launching at last time?
If you're going to drop the clutch... drop it at 6000-7000, no less, no more.

I never dropped my clutch in my '01, but I usually slipped it at around 2500-3000 to get a tiny boost.

i dont really want to drop it because they dont start us on the line they give us a little room before the start.. and i really dont want to mess up my diff. im broke now and wouldnt be able to fix it lol.
