Fast, but not safe, especially with traffic around. If one of those cars had made a split second lane change, he would have been toast.

I've done 148, but on a lit 3-lane highway with a barrier and no traffic at 2:00am. Only in these conditions would I consider that speed - nobody to harm but myself...

Stupid? Maybe...

Fun? Yes.

Wow. I must be getting old because the only thing going through my head when I watch that is how stupid / risky it is. For 1, public road with quite a bit of traffic for something like this. Secondly, it is at night. Way to easy to something to be in the road like a tire shred, car with no tail lights, animal, homeless person, etc. I dont even want to know how bad it would be to hit something like that at that speed. Lastly, could authorities actually do something about this after the fact? The guys name, location, and video evidence of him seriously breaking the law are all posted for the world to see. Is that actually possible for some cop to see that and actually charge him with wreckless driving or whatever it is you get for dirving like that?

I would think it'd be pretty hard to prosecute someone after posting this video. He could say many things to get off. Maybe going as far as to say that it isn't real. Like cg or something, though it obviously isn't.
"Someone took my car for a joyride and i just happen to leave the video on and they just happen to bring it back..."
"That isn't me..."
"I found that video and thought it was super cool!!"
Plus, he could say that it was long ago. I don't know what the statute of limitations would be on such an infraction. But then again, i doubt if it's shorter than the 8 years the car has been available.
