Defensive Driving Course
It's been almost three years since I took a defensive driving course, so my insurance discount is about to expire. I plan on taking the same one I took the time before last which I highly recommend everyone attend at some point. If you have points on your driving record, this is a great way to get those reduced.
More info can be found here: www.oksafety.org.
It costs $50 and classes are held in Tulsa every first and third Saturday of every month from 8am to 3pm and in OKC, every Saturday of every month. The next class in Tulsa is on February 21. Anyone who wants to go with, I'll contribute $5 to your cost.
I did the online course last time which IMO sucked because it took me a week to complete with all the distractions at home, so going back to the classroom course.

I don't think so. It's been six years so I don't remember. I do remember it being a pretty small class, like only maybe eight people. We'll make a special request for you if you really want to give a speech.

Road racer posted this in our FB group. Wish I would have known about Precision Driving Training classes a month or so ago.
For those interested in improving your driving skills. I would encourage you to take the precision driving class at OSU OKC. This is the only class in the state to have a skid car. I can't stress enough how much you can learn about sliding in a skid car. It is also a ton of fun!! You should also consider that I have been racing all my life so controlling under/oversteer is nothing new. Last summer my boss had me set up a defensive driving school in OKC. Everyone had a blast and really learned a lot. I especially enjoyed chasing the 22yr vet driving instructor around the road course (in a Charger police car with the lights on!) to the point that he nearly crashed. . Oh, you can also save on your car insurance!!
