acquired these last week. a local(2nd owner) was selling the car for $450 so i scooped it up immediately(bad hail damage). he told me it had a cracked block but i have put at least 100 miles on it so i dont think it has a cracked block. i think a new radiator and hoses and its good to go. interior is flawless also. wednesday my car will go into the shop for berk header, berk test pipe and buddy club spec 3 install. i will drop it off in the morning before work and pick it up on my way home. this header looks amazing quality. ive been told performance will be definitely noticeable with this combo but my spec 3 might be too loud for my ears(so i been told). thats why im getting the crx ready for a b16 and it will be my daily. if anyone has any access to crx parts let me know.

 

that will be one loud a$$ combo! i think with the daily it will be a little easier to handle though! sounds great, record a sound clip or two when you can!

picked up my car today and of course it screams in vtec like no other. with the cruise set at 70 on the highway its really not loud at all, you can talk to the passenger just fine. i can cruise at 25 in 3rd gear and it doesnt sound all that loud either. its when im on the throttle does it get loud. my top end feels like it pulls harder. with the silencer in it is way way quieter. the berk header has started to turn gold which looks really sweet. So $900 for header, test pipe and exhaust i am extremely happy with results. i will get a dyno probably next oil change to see where i set. the only complaint i have is i miss the look of a dual exhaust.

 

Can we get a sound clip perhaps? Im hunting for what exhaust i want in still nothing is persuading me from Fujisubo ( sp? )

 

honestly i dont think sound clips taken from my camera will do you any good. i listened to all the spec 3 clips on youtube and none of those could have prepared me for what its really like. its just one of those things you gotta hear for yourself, plus i got more than just exhaust installed so it prob doesnt sound the same as it would having just exhaust

 

the spec 3 screamed by itself and had little drone, so i cant even begin to imagine how insanely awesome it sounds with header and test pipe!
