i had a thread about this already, but i guess it got deleted....well my new ez on top came in today. it looks beautiful! ha ha it will be going to the tint shop after i get back from vacation then its going on. im pretty sure that dartanyan said he would help me out if i agreed to pay his fee, which i believe will be well worth it! so as soon as the tint is on and we can agree on a weekend then ill let everyone know. i thought there was another member that said he wanted to joiin in on the install and thats fine as well. if anyone else just wants to stop by and watch or maybe help out your more than welcome.

okay well the top is at the tint shop tonight and i should get it back within the next 2 days. i have to work on saturdays now so i may have to do this install either on a saturday night or a sunday. who is up for helping out? for some reason or another the other post got deleted so i cant remember. im still trying to get ahold of rx7ands2k about when he is available and if that would work with his schedule. what does everyone else think?

 

I found the original thread (https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=685663), the only probrem is that the original post is missing. Looks like all (or at least most of) the replies are still there tho.

 

how did you find that? i wonder what happened to it. also i have sent dartanyan 2 pm's and he hasnt gotten back to me. the guy that did my tint did a terrible job so it goes back monday to hopefully get fixed or its going somewhere else.

 

I found it as a result of this announcement about missing topics. Who'd you have do the tint?

 

If the tint shop dosent get it right let me know and i can get you a pretty good deal at Premier collision center in BA. My uncle is one of the owners.

 

id rather not say who it was just yet. they did my f150 for me last year before i sold it and my dads 66 nova ss and his 86 elcamino and all were excellant! i think he just got in a hurry and thought it was gonna be a little easier than it was. im gonna give him a second chance to do it right and if it doesnt turn out any better then ill give you a shout s2knoob89.

called dartanyan tonight and he pretty much told me whenever im ready he is. so as soon as i see the result of the second chance tint ill find a weekend that it suitable for both of us and let you all know. any one that wants to come is more than welcome. it will probably be a sunday though and he said he wants to start at like 8am.

 

okay well the tint turned out better the second time around. i think he just thought it would be super easy and rushed through it.

i called dartanyan today and we are gonna get this started on the 28th of this month. thats a sunday. we will start pretty early probably around 7:30 or 8. if anyone wants to stop by thats cool. i think there was someone that was gonna have to do theirs in the near future and wanted to see it done.
