Why are you changing your gear ratio? The reason I am asking is one of the guys in jacksonville, Fl (negcamber) has the 4.57 gears and he can't stand the whine and the excessive gas useage. Just curious. Thanks.

im changing to the motorklasse 4.44r gear. i believe it to be the best mod besides FI to improve acceleration. with this gear i hear there is no whine whatsoever.

You get faster acceleration, but you will shift more. Here is my dyno before and after the installation of a megan header, tp and 2.5" single exit exhaust. All for ~$800.

The lower base line was corrected for the environmental conditions for that day for the before dyno ~ 6 months ago. Hope this helps. If you get the chance, take a drive in an S2000 with a different set of gears.

well i have been down that route and didnt think the results were all that great. i had a berk header, berk tp, and buddy club spec 3. i could tell a difference but it was nothing that great by any means. i sold all that and now im going with 4.44r, berk high flow cat and undecided on exhaust right now but leaning towards the new t1r 70mm
