"All new phase 3 engines are fully warranted for 30 hours between rebuilds."

Ummmmm, that's a couple of days of driving for me.

Yeah, quite obviously a race engine.

That said, I'm sure that they have streetable versions in development or already installed in several Caterhams and Radicals in the UK.

I think I was referring to the *concept* of a V8 based on the Hayabusa. That matches the concept of the S2000 (high-revving, hyperactive motor) - just with double the cylinders and more displacement. I wasn't really suggesting that you go out and do it - worried about time between rebuilds, spare parts, etc.

Hell, a detuned Honda F1 V8 would be the coolest. I'm just dreaming here, OK?
