JulieU, thanks for the PM. I have been a little busy the past few weeks si I have not posted a lot. I am however all booked and ready for the weekend (including the karting)I would for sure like to join with the convoy from Tulsa. Route 2 looks good for me as I can meet up with everyone in Claremore. But I will fit with whatever route suits the majority. Just let me know what time you are all heading out at. By the way last weekend my wife and I took the "S" to Birmingham, Alabama to watch the AMA superbike races at Barber. Drove 100% of the way there and back with the top down. Car never missed a beat and we had a great time. Took me forever to get the bugs of though.
Looking forward to the meet in Kansas City and then the Formula One in June.

No jacket. T-shirt and jeans w/o heater. We put it on cold to make it better. 70 is ideal for me. And I think it was 50. Either way, 50 at highway speeds is F-ing cold.

 

I found out some horrible news - an event I had planned last year looks like it's the SAME WEEKEND as MOM. Somehow I never put it together that they overlapped. Sadly, it means I'm going to have to cancel out.

I will greatly miss it, but I'm sure I'll get to hear stories and see pictures about the whole thing. Hope you guys have an awesome time!

The MOM07 is less than a week away!

Here's a summary of some important details for the Tulsa crew:

When: Saturday, May 5th between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m. We'll hit the road promptly at 9:00 a.m.
Where: Warehouse Market on Garnett just south of I-44 (click here for map) north end of the parking lot (opposite side of the grocery store).
Things to consider bringing: PikePass, two-way radios (tuned to channel 8), sunscreen, cameras, camera mounts, tripods, swimwear, basic tools - just in case (socket set, pliers, wrenches), Fix-a-Flat, spare fuses, basic first aid kit, and maybe some microfiber towels and detail spray.

We'll stop in Claremore (~9:30 am) to pick up aerotec100 and then in Carthage (~11 am) to meet up with a couple of folks from Springfield.

JulieU, I am sorry but can't go to the mid-west meet in KC. Too much work trying to close two large land sales. I am still hoping to go to the Black Hills Rally. You all have a great time in KC!!
