Default Needing some general help.

So I owned my S for 2 months before the hail storm hit. It stretched out my top and doesn't look the same. I'm wondering if there's anyone out there that doesn't have a garage kept s2k that can send me pics of the back window of there car. Insurance is trying to low ball me and not pay for my top. They are saying it could have already looked like that prior to the hail storm. But why on earth would I buy a 2007 with a crappy top lol. Any help would be greatly appretiated. I just want something to show in co parison to state farm. Thanks in advance!

Garage every night. Occasionally parked outside during the day :-) I try to keep it in good condition.

Would it be asking to much to take a picture from the back window to the headrest? Mines leaning on the plastic inside the car. I think it used to be about 2 inches away.

The top shouldn't touch the headrests. Mine was parked outside for 2 years and the sun won't stretch the top. Hail can stretch it very easily

I'll take a couple pics of mine. It's been kept outside for the year I've owned it. Don't know about the previous owner.

mine is an 01' with the original top. been garaged all of its life, but either way, its about as old as it gets, and it's still in near perfect condition.

been put up and down countless times. no signs of stretching anywhere. the only things that appear to be worn/wearing are the little elastic straps that connect a couple of the ribs of the frame above where your head goes, but they aren't "hanging" down or anything, just not as stretchy as they once were.

your top should be pristine if your car is an 07' and hasn't had a fat person sitting on it, lol.
