Oklahoma Convoy to Fall BMT16
What is a BMT, you ask? Read all about it by following this link to the official Fall BMT16 thread in the Ark-La-Tex section.
[SIZE="4"]For those who wish to caravan from the Tulsa area on Thursday, October 27, let's meet at Reasor's/Warehouse Market/whatever grocery store is across the street from QuikTrip on Garnett just south of I-44 (click for map) north end of the parking lot at noon.[/SIZE] (leave by 12:30).Meet/departure times, location, and route are open to discussion.
Goals:
reach our destination after check-in but before sunset (so between 3pm and 6:30-ish) and not get stuck in rush hour traffic in Springdale/Fayetteville/Rogers/Bentonville.

Option A (Turnpike Route) <-- click to see map
We could meet at the Warehouse Market at I-44 & Garnett, take the Cherokee Turnpike east to Hwy 23, then north to Eureka Springs. This is the quick (under 3 hours) and boring route.
Option B (non-Turnpike Route) <-- click to see map
This starts out the same as Option A but we would take Scenic 412 instead of the Cherokee Turnpike. Then north and east on some decent curvy back roads into southwest Missouri. Once we get to Roaring River State Park, depending on how much daylight we have left, we can decide whether to stop or continue on to Eureka Springs.
Open to discussion and other options...
