Default Questions before buying....

So the lip is on hold.... However, buying up wheels, tires, coilovers, and exhaust! Tell me what you guys think:

Wheels:
Enkei Racing - RPF1s (black with red brand stickers)
Fronts: 17x7 +45 offset
Rears: 17x9 +45 offset
Will these have any concave to them? Essentially, I want the spokes to be either perfectly vertical or flowing into the center cap with no bulge. Also, any ideas on how "deep" the rears will be?

Tires:
Bridgestone - Potenza RE760 Sports
Fronts: 215/45/17
Rears: 245/45/17
I went with 45s on the rears instead of 40s because I like uniformity and the idea of a stronger sidewall. Any foreseeable issues with this choice (i.e. am I guaranteeing rubbing with the 9" wheels and a sidewall of 45)? I also understand that some camber adjustments would be required and I could also go 40s all-around as well. Also, I always thought the RE760s were a better tire than the RE050s but the 50s are hella more expensive. What gives? Is it worth it to downgrade size on rims and use the brand new RE050s that I currently have installed?

Coilovers:
Unknown
Would like to stay around $1K. What are your recommendations?

Exhaust:
Invidia Q300 (titanium)
I really love the sound of this exhaust on a NA'ed car but wonder if I should go with something like the HKS 70mm single (not sure if I really like the look of a single though).

Not 100% on anything quite yet, so feel free to throw suggestions at me. Thanks in advance!

As far as the tire size goes, you'll be travelling 2.3MPH faster at 60MPH than what your speedo will show. I don't have the RPF1s so I can't tell you if it will increase rubbing or not.

The RE050's are expensive because those are OEM tires. They are always expensive. I think JulieU might be running the RE760s? What are you looking for? Life? Grip? If you want high performance sticky tires I suggest looking into the Hankook R-S3's or the Dunlop Star Specs.

Coilovers: I've heard good things about the Bilistein PSS9 coilovers. I run KW coils but those are a bit expensive for your price range.

Alright buddy, here we go.

The RPF1s are only straight when they are like Vinh's, i.e. 17x9 +45 or lower on the offsets. The 7.5 will have the bowed out face. Why not do a square set up like Vinh has? It looks too bad ass.

Please do not do a 45 series in the rear... The 45 in the front is based off the width only being 215. If you get wider rears the height needs to come down a step, i.e. like the stock set up. Unless you want the raked look where the rear sits higher... I don't know... you are kinda weird like that... By the way, more sidewall does NOT equal more strength (tire dependant). If anything it's less because you have more area to flex or shift or move while turning. Hope I explained that good enough... Do not get the 050s, they are old. Get a newer design, that is all.

For coilovers... I don't care what anyone else says, my megan racing coilovers were amazing. When compared to my HKS coilovers, they looked damn near the same except for small things like springs. They had pillow ball top hats... they even had a better brake line holder than the HKS ones. I used the Megan holders on my HKSs. I would say, figure out how you want the car to handle first and then look what company offers what for spring rates. More spring in the rear, more oversteer. Maybe Buddy clubs, tein Flex types (little more expensive)... search son!

If you are thinking of getting an exhaust based off of what you heard when I was NA it wasn't the Q300. It was the V3 N1. I am going to sell it here soon, maybe you can swing by and look it over. Dustin wants it, but you guys can fight over the price.

Please do not get a single unless you plan to change the rear bumper. I plan on getting an AP1 bumper to do a single. It looks homo on a stock AP2 rear. Just don't.

(disclaimer: It is your car though, do as you want. )

Andrey and Brandon have covered wheels and tires pretty well, I would throw in that I really like the buddy club coilovers I have, and they are within your price range. Plus they look good and are mad jdm. As far as the exhaust goes, I have the hks 75mm single, and if I had to do it again, I would have bought a dual. It makes more power (supposedly), but the gap is quite annoying. If looks matter, get a dual. Or do whatever you want

Depends on what you consider "better". RE760 Sports have a treadwear rating of 340 whereas the RE050s are 140, meaning the RE760 Sports will have a better treadlife, but might not be as sticky as the RE050s. The RE050s will probably perform better, but not last nearly as long as the RE760 Sports.
