Default SoCal Fun

I have been on the road a lot to California lately. Last trip I had to head up to Bakersfield from LA and thought I would try a little more scenic drive than the Grapevine (I-5).

After a nice long cruise on the Pacific Scenic Coast Highway, I found this little 138 mile gem. Quick few snaps with my phone along the way don't really tell a good story, but I hope you get the idea. It was one of the most enjoyable 3.5 hour drives I have had.....

The reason it was not THE most enjoyable has to do with the gutless rental I was driving. Only good news about the rental is that it was driven without much regard!

Trust everyone is doing well. Greetings ............

Martini

Nice!

We were in SF last December, rented a Mini-Cooper and ran Highway 1 from Amonte to Tomales. It was a fantastic drive, the view was great, and the twisties were fun. Took me a while to get used to the Cooper though, it sure isn't an S.....

Some gorgeous views man! I'm in San Diego myself right now...

It's awesome to get a chance to drive around... I'm currently borrowing an Audi TT from my boss this time, and it's been a trip!
