Question WTF?

I went to Honda this afternoon cause my front left fender liner is coming off. They told me it was going to cost $76.46 for the liner itself and then around $20.00 in hardware to put it back on. Then we walk around to the back of the car and my left rear shock is starting to go out. WONDERFUL!!! Im gonna wait on the fender liner til i can afford it and tires and get it done around the same time. As for the shock, i have about 6 to 8 months before it goes so by then ill have money and have it replaced. The mod list keeps growing but the money keeps shrinking. o yea Tires too.

mod list so far...

Shift Knob - $40
Speakers - $150 +-
Tires - $500 +
Exhaust - $750 +
Intake - $280 +
Test Pipe - $100
Possible new front bumper cause mine is bruised - $300 +
and then the fender liner - $100
new shock - $ ?
cost for now is $2220 +

THIS IS FOR EVERYONE...

and this is for MARTINI and anyone else interested in the ARC BOX...

Is your liner torn, bent, or mangled in any way? If not, you may just have lost several liner clips which hold the liner in place. There should be 2 screws (rear), 2 bolts (front) and 16 clips holding the liner in place. If just a few of the clips come out within the same area of the fender, your liner will droop. Clips are about $.30/clip. Could this be your problem?

Hey don't worry about the shocks you could get a aftermarket shocks and springs for a good price. Cheaper than factory and we could help you install to save you money.

Thanks for the info Cliff....

I still am liking the ARC system a lot... but there are more components than just the box (as I am finding out). I need to make a trip to OKC to talk with the Vin... and check out his ride... if it does what I hope it will do... i think I will buy his.

Anyone want to make a trip up to OKC?

BTW... sorry to hear bout your bumper...

Sounds to me like Honda is giving you a Bullshit quote. Honda doesn't know how long it will be until shocks give way. But if you want to replace the shocks then I would go with KYB for a good aftermarket replacement with adjustability. It were me, I would get the Tein coilovers with efdc, for the bling factor of course, but that is because money is no object for me...... LOL. I wish. As for the liner. See if any of these chumps that are selling there front bumpers are also letting go of their linings. You never know. If I get the spoon front bumper, I might not need my linings. I don't know though for sure.

I'll be free from 8am - 4pm on Saturday. Feel free to come by. Just give me a call in advance so I'll be at home.
