I've been talking with Shonda to try and figure out a time when she could do a weekend trip, and some of the other S2k guys were mentioning how they'd really like to revisit the Painted Hills.

So after checking schedules, it appears like June 21-22 would be a great time for this to happen. Give me a head count on who could make it and would want to.
It's two long days of driving and an overnight hotel but involves some fantastic roads and incredible scenery.

I'm most definitely in with my plus one. I've wanted to see the hills for a long time.

 

I'll have the exhaust worked out by then, so barring anything catastrophic, i'm in as well.

You know I want to do it! Hopefully work won't be too crazy in June to allow me to work the drive in!

 

I love this drive. Last time I did this drive I was pale and vomiting my brain out. If the date is confirmed I will see if it works out for us to go.

 

i have interest + 1, but i wouldnt be able to confirm until closer to the date. this is one of the few drives i havent been able to make yet.
