I am new to the area and just wanted to get to know some of you. In the Upstate NY Forum, we had one of these every month. Just fun to chat with other S2K enthusiasts. Suggest cool hang-out places and dates please. Thanks!

 

Hello, we have dinner once a month during the winter months. The rest of the year we have monthly drives which started last month and then again this coming Saturday. I wouldn't mind a dinner next week to meet up with some new members, but I'm limited to days so let me know.

 

I would need suggestions for good places to eat/drink. My calendar says Tuesday or Wednesday next week (5/22 or 5/23). If that does not work for anyone please post here with date suggestions. I would be able to meet somewhere by 6 PM. Sounds good?

 

Traffic makes it tough to get anywhere around 6pm. I'd be game though.

 

Like Matt said its going to be hard to meet up around 6pm because of traffic. We can meet at Henry's in Downtown Portland but parking might be a problem in you don't want to park in the garage nearby. But they got great food and drinks. BJ's or Stanford's in Jantzen Beach would be good too and they have good parking. There's quite a few places in town that will be good such as McMinnimens.

 

Hmm let me know the day and time and I might be able to make it up!

 

Not knowing the area real well, i'd leave the venue to you all. Just make sure there is adequate parking. If parking is a problem in downtown, how about in the suburbs somewhere (Beaverton, Hillsboro etc.). We can meet at 6:30 PM if that helps. Thanks!

 

Bridgeport Village!! Exit 290 off I-5. There are a few possible locations to eat and drink there.

 

If we do Bridgeport, there is a Ramano's Macaroni Grill, a McCormack and Schmidts and a couple of other places, but parking can be a bit of a hassle, but the garage might have open spaces on the top.

The only way I would be able to make it would be if it were at Bridgeport, I won't have time to drive all over creation to get someplace. Either of the days you mention Abhi are good for me.

 

I am OK with Bridgeport Village, if that works for the rest of you. If we do go there, please let me know which garage to look for to park in. I work on NW Vaughn, so I can assume not too much traffic if I leave around 5:30 PM or so, I guess.

Still, feel free to make more suggestions for venues if this does not work for you. We should decide by end of this weekend.
