I was leaving Vernonia about 8:30, heading to the Clack to do some rafting and I saw the group of 5 S's heading into town. I was in a big burgandy dually 4x w/a raft in the back but I can't imagine anyone had any reason to notice.

It sure made me miss my S though.......I was really hoping to be able to get in on a couple group runs this summer.

The cars close to done, one of the fenders I got was a pile of cr*p, doesn't fit well at all. The lead time is 6-8 weeks for another one so the shop is re-building it to make it fit right. At least they're taking the time to get everything together right, still being without the car for this long is no fun. Maybe I'll be able to show it off on the next run, maybe, I have no confidence in shedules anymore.

Looks like a good time, wish I could have made it.

BTW- the river was awesome!

 

So, did the photographer email us the picture yet?

 

He has not emailed them to me yet. Not sure he will email them. He had a 35mm camera, so I might be getting actual 'photos'. I haven't seen those in a while, what are they like!

 

Hopefully those actual photos look good. I always like the look of an actual photo. I wonder if he's going to give us the negative as well in case someone else wants the pix.

 

Ha ha ... I am expecting a copy of the picture with a order sheet for more prints.
But, I will definitely order if they came out good. Since he uses a film camera (gulp), maybe he does not know how to use email.

 

Great picts and looks like a fun drive

Past few years we've been meeting with friends at Cannon Beach and last time we made it to Astoria. Cool little place.

Next time up gonna have to check out the Goonies house.

 

Well, the dude finally emailed me the link to the pics he took of us. Decent quality for a film camera that was scanned into a computer.

Not sure, he didn't say. He has them up on a hosted photo web site. With them just getting to me through the email, if he is sending the hard copies, I would expect them any time real soon.

I will find out though.
