Why hasnt miked chimed in yet , I have a feeling he is lurking somewhere . I think DJ mike would make a great CO, I also think Marc would do a good job also. Those two seem to be at every event, lots of the drives, these 2 guys should consider this!!!!

^ both are great candidates. Although neither may see this anytime soon I know they aren't as active on the forum as they are within our group out in the real world

Thanks guys for the nomination. I'm flattered! Due to life circumstances and work schedule, I'm just too busy to be CO. I personally think Huy RN is the best candidate. with that said, I will always be the guy behind the scene rallying the troops.

We need nominations by Friday.

If no one is selected we could lose the Oregon forum and have it absorbed into the Pac NW...

The duties of the CO are not that in depth, you don't need to plan drives or events, all that's needed is make sure the forum is an open, friendly platform. Anything extra is up to you.

Hello everyone, thank you for thinking about Doug and I. As I can't speak for Doug, I need to have a few days to think about it. This is a great group of people and deserves someone who can dedicate some time to this great group of people.

Do you love it at the potential loss of the Oregon forum though?

FYI, I want to make it known that I *could* stay on as a CO, but I honestly would rather not due to time limitations.
If I were to stay on as a CO, my participation would be drastically reduced mostly to just being a forum moderator, essentially.

I do not want to see our forum membership and activities suffer because I cant put the time in.

Huy, Doug, Mike, Marc, and I could name several other people are all upstanding people who would do this forum proud, but as they mention, time is the factor here.
I personally would try to be available to "consult" the new COs as needed, as I'm sure Ira would as well.

Hopefully some more people will chime in

Absolutely. We're all here to help each other out, Aaron and I just don't have the time to be the CO's that we want to be. For someone new, they can depict the level of involvement they feel comfortable with
