Hi Tony,

We are trying to keep away from comments on the resource page. We want it to be a quick way to look up potential vendors and see if others had a positive or negative experience with them.

We would like to keep away from forum members flaming a vendor. There are always two sides to every story in a conflict and we don't want the forum to get into a conflict situation with vendors and forum members .

You are free to make comments in the resource comment thread, but keep in mind that saying that a vendor is a thief and jerk may open you to a libel suit.

Larry

for Todd's Import Automotive

http://www.toddsimport.com/

They've been around for 25+ years. I've been taking my s2000 there for anything which I would normally do at the dealership for about 5+ years now.

Labor rate is decent, very clean, well kept, honest shop. They always do exactly what you ask him to do, never more, unless they find something wrong, then they take the time to discuss/explain it to you and let you make the decision w/o pressure.

When I did my Tranyy fluid, Diff fluid, spark plugs, and engine oil, I was very specific about exactly how I wanted it done, and they always do it exactly per my request, and never try to give me some substitute instead.

There ARE always two sides to a story but that does not mean you are not entitled to tell your part.

And if the vendor is in fact a jerk or thief you have every right to say so. As long as you have specific instances of why your opinion is that way.

Giving a vendor a bunch of 's without giving any reason can also lead to a libel suit. Giving 's will almost never be an issue

On the other hand, bashing a vendor without reason can lead to issues down the road. If you are going to post negative comments just make sure they are from your own experiences and not your brother's, cousin's, best friend's experience

Hello everyone,

I agree with you guys about having comments especially with those that someone has given a The purpose of the resource list is to provide a quick reference of vendors and some of our experiences.

This thread was start up for that reason. Your comments on the experience good or bad should be placed here. Please keep it short, to the point, and be professional about what you say about a vendor. Remember the vendors don't have a say to their side so NO slandering of the vendors just your experience.

For example: "They took too long to ship out my_______" "Communication/customer service was bad" etc.

Thanks everyone.

Huy

Huy,

Please add Modifry to your list of online parts vendor, with a from me.

I ordered my Yellow Jacket from them Friday, 7/25, got immediate mail confirmation stating that it was shipped the same day. (paid regular USPS shipping), and I got the item today, Monday 7/28.

I think Modifry is a sponsor here too right?

Anyone recommend any good upholstery shops in the area? Looking to do a two-tone interior and am tired of waiting for OEM two-tones to show up.
