Default Fuel pump kill switch?

I'm going to install a fuel pump kill switch but I was hoping to get some information on wiring and generally how to do it. I've searched but couldn't find anything that really told me how to do it. Is there a "How To" guide that I missed somewhere??

Thanks for your time

Usually its done for anti theft purposes. The switch is place in a not so obvious place, flip the switch to turn off the fuel pump when you park. If someone attemps to take your car they will not be able to start it unless the fuel pump is turn on first. No fuel no drive.

I hope you do it right because if you do it wrong it can fail.

You can find yourself driving down the road and it fails and you can

cause pre-detanation in your motor and cause some real damage or

your car shuts down and you lose your power brakes and stearing.

Not the best idea just get a good alarm with starter kill.

Geoff lol nooo there can't be any negatives to doing it . I do have a viper 5900 with starter kill. There's been quite a few threads of people easily by passing the starter kill and key chip so I was exploring a few other options.

Why exactly would a NC switch or relay suddenly fail and cause this doomsday scenario you've created?

I agree with Geoff. If they really want to take the car they will just take it. I have read one s2000 getting towed down his own street with some dollies by some dude.
