Default GO DUCKS!

Tonight is the much anticipated night for all U of O Duck fans out there.

Congratulations to the Ducks for making it to the National Championship game.

Let's hope that the Duck ends up having to do LOTS of pushups tonight:&playnext=1&list=PL228C3ECD2A3AD391&index=2

Hell of a game. Great last minute push by the Ducks, but just a little too late.

How did his knee not scrape the grass blades on that RUN!!!!!!!!!! Grr

And how did they not call Cliff Harrison's interception! HE CAUGHT THE BALL.

Oregon lost the game.

Auburn did well and played hard. Slight jab but Auburn has the worst graduation rate in Div 1 Football. Oregon should be proud they played hard, they were just undersized.

Hope next year will be better...

As most of you know, I am a huge UO fan and this is a very dark day for me. Oregon, much like last year at the Rose Bowl, lost this game.

First, let's point out that Oregon was under-sized. They had a very difficult time tackling one-on-one, or stopping the carrier at the first hit.

That being said, we did a decent job of keeping Cam from running all over the place, but since we keyed on him, that left Dyer and the other skill positions open to beat us.

The two biggest plays that people are talking about, the interception and the Dyer 37-yard scamper to set up the game winning FG, were both the correct calls. The receiver, whether offense or defense, has to maintain possession through the contact of the ground. Yes, Cliff 'caught' the ball but he was bobbling it and did not have solid possession as he hit the ground. Had that play happened in bounds and not out of bounds, it would have been an interception. It all has to do with the fact that he was out of bounds.

The Dyer run was much the same as a run we had two years ago when Blount (I believe) was never down on a TD run.

We just let too many plays make it into the secondary.

I think that next year will be a better year, even with the loss of all the great seniors we had this year (Bair/Matthews/Paysinger/Maehl....). The future is bright for this team and I look forward to cheering them on in the next BCS Title game!

GO DUCKS!!!!

poor outcome, but fun to watch just the same.
