Ok, I know I'm missing the evenings out (my idea even ), but I'll be better.

What I am proposing is a run out the gorge. Use the old highway then go to the Bridge of the Gods cross over and come back on SR-14. Either do a picnic in the Gorge, or stop someplace on the way. Skamania Lodge is nice, rather expensive but nice; we could do the Sunday Brunch.

I propose that we bring our better halves (if you've got one).

This sounds like a great idea... I second the moton for Skamania lodge as well- very good food and atmosphere. Heck, maybe even hit a few balls while we're there.

Lets do this! Date and time suggestions? I don't have a better half currently but wouldn't mine meeting others wives. The more the merrier!

The weekend the 19th is out for me (unless I don't bring my wife). The next weekend is Easter and it is usually pretty crowded at Skamania that weekend.

We really need to get the whole bunch involved here, a line of 10-15 S's on old Hwy 30 would be too cool.

If we go to Skamania we definitely want to make reservations, so we'll need to know how many in your party.

We could meet at one of the truck stops. Depending on stops, it'll take about an hour from there to get to Skamania.

How about this Sunday? Kelvin and I were planning on playing golf but we could certainly skip it for a group drive.

This may not be enought time to plan for most folks but is adequate for me.

 

I'm in. Might be tight getting reservations for a large group though.

Shall I handle the logistics for Sunday brunch with Skamania? I'll wait to see how many are interested... The more the merrier but if events are low in participation then some folks just miss out on the fun- it doesn't make it any less of a good time for me.

Bottom line- I'm in even if it's just a handful of us.

 

That's fine with me, Greg. With passengers, I'll need to tune it down to 60-70% though. Not that Old Hwy 30 is a good place to go

That sounds like a good time but I have a softball practice I can't miss this sunday. I have a lot of practice the next few weeks, (due to being on 4 different teams) but with a little more notice I'm sure I can make something work.

 

Greg, I'd say let's pass on this weekend. Leave this out here and see if we get any additional interest.
