Default Got my car dyno'd at PDXTuning

Finally got my car dyno'd again since 2003. I've had a few changes to the car since then, but after 5 years, seems like the S2000 is still running strong even with Force Induction!

The reason for this dyno is because I decided that its time to give up the test pipe and go with a CAT, and I wanted to see just how much power I'll be loosing.

Here is a link to the write up I did if you are interested:

As for the shop PDXTuning, I give them 2 . Both Dustin and Chirs I work with there were very very knowledgeable and friendly. Their dyno prices are very fair, and they even did a little of fuel tune for me for free because I saw a potential problem with my car running too lean. I do plan on doing more work with them in the future.

The are a well known tuner in our area for Sti's and Evo's, but they told me that they'd be happy to work on S2000's. Both the dyno charge and labor per hour rate is very reasonable after search/calling around all the difference shops in the Portland area.

Nice numbers. Might just get a comptech unit (ones for sale in the FS forum) instead of KW (since they are taking forever) How many psi are you running?

Again nice results!

7 psi pully. And that dyno is a known "heartbreaker" in the Portland Subie community, so I'm pretty happy with the numbers.

Wow! very nice numbers for Comptech SC Brian you beat me by 10 hp but I think I have more torque though and beat you by 15 lb/ft. Anyway, nice results. force induction. Here's the pics of my dyno sheet results last March 2006...still don't have the Megan heather and test pipe at that time...just the Vortech SC and Invidia dual exhaust.

At the rear wheel result of 309

At the flywheel + torque result of 214.4

then the A/F ratio and 6.7 lbs of boost

And this was pulled on fifth gear at 9000 rpm.

Nice job Brian, I like the comparison of the two. I've actually wondered the comparison between the two and have considered picking up a HFC; your dyno helps
