I will be posting pic today. I kind of like it. The main thing is the car looks different and thats what I like without aftermarket parts.

Different is right. Reminds me of a blue beetle I saw today with red soft top. :wtf:
If you want heated seats in your roadster, I'd recommend a Z4 or Boxster.

Heated seats rock!
This weekend Debbie and I drove up to Lake Chelan. It rained on us on the way up on Friday, but Saturday was beautiful.
Today we drove from Chelan across the northern crossing of the Cascades - just south of the Canadian border. We were up above the snow line (the snow along the side of the road was 3 to 8 feet deep) and we were top down! We had the heated seats cranked up and had a ball.
The S was a pleasure to drive on a long trip - our first with the car.
By the way, we stopped by Stonehenge on the way up to Chelan. It is exactly 100 miles from Portland. There is a large gravel parking lot right up next to the structure. Actually the structure is concrete, so it should really be known as "concretehenge". Anyway, it should be a good spot for pictures.

I bet that was a blast!! Glad to hear you're enjoyin' her!!
I had the heated seats installed by Coach Automotive Accessories in Beaverton.
It was $495 for both seats, wiring, switches and installation. The heater system is made by Katzkin Leather Interiors Inc. The kit is the "Carbotex seat heater system".
Their website is here
I think this might beyond the DIY project. Not only do the seats have to come out of the car, but they also have to be disassembled to get the element pads in place. It takes special tools to undo and redo the leather clips. If not done right, the leather can pull and pucker.
I had the switches placed on either side of the auxilliary outlet below the glove box.
The WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) of driving top down is greatly enhanced by having heated seats!
