I've not installed a soft top before, but would love to be involved in the process. If you find someone with experience and are OK with me tagging along that'd be great

I am the same as Paul - I have never done, but would be happy to help. I picked up a rivit gun recently so you are welcome to use it- I understand you will need it.

if I were you I'd swap out the entire top with frame. Its a much easier process. I have a top that I took off a bent frame and it was a PIA to remove, I'd hate to have to re-install it.

Depending on how soon you're looking to do the swap, I may have a top for sale.

Noizemaker (Matt) from PacNW did it when he was still around in the PDX area and said it was a HUGE pita.
He had all kinds of issues getting the top fit right, etc etc etc.

Once he had the top all in and together, it was nice, but getting there was a headache.

Much easier with a frame swap. I have done multiple complete swaps, never just the fabric.

Honda dealer replaced the soft top of my car (small tear issue) long time ago under warranty and it took them 12 damn hrs. I totally agree with Aaron it's not easy.
