Default Important Information that YOU

...

.................................................. ....................

The purpose of this post is to clarify what S2KI is and what it is not. .. And to clarify the role of this forum's Community Organizers (COs).

...

The S2Ki.com Oregon S2000 Owners forum (also known as S2Ki Oregon) is not a club. .It is not an official organization or recognized entity of any sort. . There is no "Club S2ki" or "Oregon S2000 Club" regardless of what has been said or assumed.

...

S2Ki.com is only a means to communicate, meet and facilitate further organization for the regional groups to carry over to the real world. . S2ki.com is NOT offering to organize, sponsor, approve or regulate any events of any regional forum. . The members of the board are free to arrange their own meets, but neither S2Ki.com, or its volunteers who serve as moderators or COs are responsible for leading, regulating, controlling, approving or monitoring these events. . When any forum participants get together, these are not "S2KI meets".

...

Your community organizers (also known as COs) are not representatives of S2KI. . They have been appointed by the local board members to facilitate communications on the board (to moderate) and to encourage and promote the local group to get people involved. . COs who choose to organize and lead an event do so on their own behalf. The COs are not responsible for any meets that they do not organize. . In other words, the COs do not sanction or have any control over member-organized meets - even if they do choose to attend them.

...

The meets that the local COs agree to arrange, organize and conduct on behalf of the membership will be posted in the "Upcoming Drives and Events" thread at the top of the local forum home page. . The local COs have requirements in place for these meets which the members must abide by if they are to participate. . These include, but are not limited to:

...- having current insurance coverage
...- having a current valid driver's license
...- signing a liability waiver for that event
...- acknowledge reading, understanding and agreeing to abide by the established meet rules

Thanks!
