Tonight is the first night for open test and tune at the local strip. bunch of guys from our company are gonna be there. John the parts guy has been doing a lot of smack talk so lets hope I put a stop to it. He's got a 07 accord v6 six-speed. (former S owner) A guy who works over at nissan may show up with his turbo Integra too. i don't think Jason is gonna be there though...he's got a supercharged 05 Mustang GT

gonna get a gallon of 100 octane race fuel on lunch break

my friend Chris will be there too with his 08 Si.

Read your post and was thinking "I should go and watch" then I realized you were out in Medford. Anyways, like everyone said, let us know how it goes.

Well it was fun. cold as hell though mostly due to wind chill. I ended up only doing 3 runs all against John with his accord. 1st one was my best. I started a little low on RPM's but didn't have any issue. I won it was really close though. I finished with a 14.855 he had 15.277 (really we finished within .1 seconds of eachother) and I had a trap of 95.9 he had 95.8

2nd run was my worst I roasted the tires and the car bogged when I got traction. I ended up getting 15.232 he got 14.769

Last run same thing happened again I had 15.038 and he got a 14.560

So I obviously found two things I really need to work on LAUNCHES and my reaction times which were .478 .495 and .608

My 60' times are good I hear...2.253---2.292---and 2.242


Chris with his Si had a blast! His best was a 15.269 @ 91 but got worse from there..lol never was into 16's though. He did have one reaction time of freaking .015!!! but usually around .110

After my 3rd run I stopped to take a break and eat. watched some awesome cars. but one spilt fluid on the track and they had to race one lane for a quite awhile, I left a bit after that. I don't really want to race myself and compare times. I want someone next to me! I suppose it was a good night though. Car still runs perfect, I got to drive fast and have a good race. I enjoyed it

 

thats awsome can't wait till strip opens over here ..... last year best time i ran stock was 13.7 and few 13.8's
