I know in the past the two people that have had their top's slashed have been able to buy a hard top in addition to the soft top with the insurance money, if you want to keep the car, it might be a good idea to pick one up.

True, it's all relative, but the OEM is heavier too.

Mugen...ONLY if you buy the OEM hardware. Otherweise the mugen has to be bolted on.

The OEM comes the hardware but either way you should have two people to take it off and on.

If you are going to use the hard top most of the time, just have the soft top professionally closed up with the insurance money and buy a hardtop

I think eric had after market hardware.

Your right - but in the grand scale what does 10 pounds change?


Seibon CF - 31 pounds
Mugen Carbon Fiber - 34 pounds
Mugen Fiberglass - 44-49 pounds
OEM Aluminum - 44 pounds
