You may have seen some of my other posts. I wanted to formally introduce
myself to the group and possibly meet some of you. My name is Abhi and
I have just moved from Upstate NY (Rochester). I was wondering if there was
any monthly dinner and drinks meets etc. like we used to have in the Upstate NY chapter?

My S should be arriving Fedex-Passport sometime tomorrow. I will be working
for WebMD starting 5/9/07 and will be staying at the Colonnades (Hillsboro).

I probably will not be able to make it to the May drive but will be able to join in
future ones.

Hello Abhi and welcome! We have been looking forward to your arrival.

We have had monthly dinner meets during the "wet" season - November to March. During "top-down" weather we just have our monthly drives - which often include dinners.

We will be looking forward to your participation - maybe for the Mt. St. Helens drive in June?

Welcome to Portland, you can usually find a few of us at the PIR pretty much every track events. S2ki old timer like cbender(now has a beautiful Elise) and AlanL are always there as well as me, Will (wos) with his supercharged s2k and a few other s2k owners from up notrh. In fact, we'll be out there this coming Monday (BMW day) and Tuesday (Gran Prix Import day).

Reputable dealers: Parker Johnstone's Wilsonville Honda or Jay Lee's Gladstone Honda. Those are the only ones that I have good service from.

Since I am still bone stock I can't suggest any aftermarket shops.

 

Yes, John (S2KANDNSX) has also mentioned Parker Johnstone's to me before. So, I am going to try them out when I need some service done.
