Default Newbie Detail

I did my first full detail on my S tonight. This is the first time I got to use my PC and Egde pad kit.

This is the link to the Wash & Wax thread I started: Newb Detail

Let me know what you guys think. Any of you guys detail freaks? Any tips or tricks for me?

Thanks for looking

Brandon

Looks really nice Brandon! Now..where is your Wash&Wacko Badge?

A few tips/suggestions:

Seal your rims with a protectant. A polymer or acrylic sealant works wonders for making it easier to clean off brake dust and grime. I personally use KlasseSG but thats just because it's the most durable that I have available.

Applying trim detailer to your wheel wells will dramatically improve the overall look of the car since even if you clean them they will often still look dull/dirty. I usually swipe them with a plain wash rag (cant be ruining my mitts!) and then to make it easy on myself, just hit them with an aerosol trim detailer. Darkens them up nicely.

Yeah, after I looked at the pictures I posted that is when I noticed the wheel wells. I am going to fix those tonight after work. Thanks for the tips. Where do you get your KlasseSG? Autozone?

This job took me just under 5 hours

There is no local place to get Klasse that I know of. I just ordered mine from Autopia Car Care. You can use just about any sealant. I just like Klasse because it lasts a long time.
