Default Notice for the Twin Peaks drive

Hey everyone!

Since it's still too far out to see what the weather is going to be like, I wanted to post up this little bit of info:

*IF* it rains, our usual policy is to postpone until the next weekend.
*HOWEVER*
Due to conflicting schedules of some of our drive leaders PLUS Homecoming coming up shortly after the "redeux" weekend where several of us will be putting in a very full week of driving as it is, it would be difficult to pull off the drive if we were to postpone.

SO here's the deal...

We can:
1) We do the drive, rain or shine on the 11th.
-or-
2) If it rains, we cancel the drive and move on to our October drive.

If enough people are interested in doing the drive even if it rains, we will do the drive.

Drive in the rain! My guess is that a lot of people will opt to cancel.

Die-hards unite! I say drive in the rain, after all it is the great PNW, a little rain hasn't stopped most of us before!

Depends on how warm the rain is .

Seriously, we may opt out if it is raining. We drove up through Cougar and up the east side of St. Helen's a couple of months ago when it was overcast here and it was in the 40's and raining near the mountain, no surprise I guess. We never saw the mountain and it was definitely top up driving for us. Maybe we are just wimps?

Let's hope for a nice clear sunny day.
