Yep and thanks guys! Decided to take it to Lucky's since they're on the westside, so it was easier to "stop-by" and check on the progress. It really turned out better than I had hoped for just because the hood took quite a beating after 7 years of ownership. The shop really took their time preping the hood, and the end result really paid off. All the chips was filled, hairline cracks fixed, waves sanded.
This weekend I'll be putting some of this stuff on the underside of my hood.

I strongly recommended! It turns out that it wasn't me that f'd up the clear coat on my CF hood originally (polishing). It actually was caused by the high radiant heat from the engine bay. Over the years, it was basically slowly cooking the clear coat of the CF hood from underneath. Then the last few years with our group drives where he have long duration and high temperature drives, it really accelerated the fade.
I think this would be a cheap investment for all you guys with the CF hoods, so you don't end up learn the lesson the hard way like I did.
I even showed the body shop the Cool-reflect sheets I bought, and they agree that it would be a good idea to use it.
