Ok... springs?
Ok! I got my Xbrace installed and now I'm looking for springs. I went and got a quote for H&R springs installed at like $600.
Anyone running H&R? They only drop like .75 of an inch.
what I'm looking for is a lower and stiffer center of gravity for performance more then looks. I don't want to drop $1500 on coil overs. I'd like to get the springs and if they seem to springy with the stock struts then later get something like Koning adjustable shocks to go with them.
Any other preference? I defiantly don't want to be "slammed"
Your experiences (and pricing) would be appreciated!
Last car I bought springs for was my old 03 Acura TL Type S (Eiboc) and it was not good, the stock struts at time could not keep up (never did buy new struts).

600 installed is spendy, is there any way you can do the installation yourself to save some cash?
I have tein s-tech springs. They came on my ap1 when I purchased it probably too low for what you're lookin for
I just bought some skunk2 springs from a guy off ebay for my ap2. Got them for 90 shipped so thats a decent deal. Again, probably too low for you but that can kinda give you an idea of what you'd spend if you shopped around and did the install yourself.

this is the ride height when i was on the skunk2. i want to say i paid something like $130-$140 shipped and did the install myself. $600 for springs/installed is tough. i still think its worth checking out forged to do the install. coilovers where the best investment on my car, but if i were to go with a spring, i would use the espelirs at this point. i bet you could have them bought and installed about the $300ish figure.
