Default Oregon Forum Badge

Hey everyone!

I have been working on some concepts for a new Oregon S2000 forum badge in the little spare time I've had these past few weeks. I've whittled it down to a couple ideas I want to try.

However..I am in need of Oregon photographs to use and I felt it would be a lot more interesting if I used photos that members have taken rather than typical stock photography.

I am unsure which idea I'll settle on but I would need one of two kinds of photos:

1) just any photo of scenic Oregon. I want to try to encapsulate all the major climates we have (Oregon has it all, don't you know? ). If you have a great shot of the forests, coast, dunes, mountains, or whatever...

2) a shot showing your S from a rear 3/4 view on the left side, with the scenery as mentioned above in the background. I'm going to steal Brandon's photo to show the angle I am looking for. (Hope you don't mind Brandon, this shot is what got me thinking about this particular idea)

It wont have to be perfect, but as close as possible to that angle so I can attempt to morph the photos from shot to shot while keeping the car stationary. Again, I'd like to get some with mountains, forest, coast/beach, etc.

If you are willing to donate a picture or two to the cause, email me at afields@bendcable.com
please send zips of the photos at their native resolution. If the zip is huge, you can use http://www.yousendit.com

Thanks!

Thanks Aaron

I will see what other photos I have. I have some of the dunes from last weekend when I went quading there. I don't have any with the S but you might be able to crop in an S into the picture for the look you want.

Of course my pictures are usually very low quality as I have shaky hands

I should be able to overlay an S if necessary in any photo. At the badge size, I doubt anyone would be able to tell..true.

I think that is a great idea.

Since it isn't likely that anyone is going to have a good photo of one of the scenic areas with their car in the right position, why don't you just plan on PhotoShopping in the cars to stock or donated photos?

Maybe on one of our next meets we could like up the cars (so they have consistent lighting) and you could shoot those rear 3/4 views to drop into the photos.
