Default Post Track Day

I know a lot of members talk about going to the track so I thought it would be helpfull to summarize my experience.

Club: Cascade
Price: 210
Instructor: yes
Classroom time: 3 hrs
Time on track: four 20 minute sessions
Requirements for our car: Helmet, roll bar, 5 point harness for both occupants

My overall impression of cascade is very high, this was a serious group of racers who take pride in what they do. I had an excellent instructor who had me driving much faster by the end of the day. The whole event was very organized which was nice as this was my first hpde. They are very safety concious, but towards the end of the day my instuctor did let me "battle" a little with an STI! After I passed him I spun out in the chicane

This club is completely worth the time, money, and the safey modifications required. On that note we could use some more representaion out there! Willing to donate my interior parts to anyoneone who wants to put a rollbar in so you can have two sets. Can also let you borrow one of my harnesses so you dont have to buy two!

mmmmmmm......anthony..............heip.........

Great to hear! My colleague Tucker Sheppy is an instructor at Cascade. The only reason why I cannot attend there is the rollbar requirement. I am not sure whether I want a rollbar in the S yet, that is why a group of us are doing HPDE with BMW Club.

Yeah the rollbar seems to be the issue for most people. Well if you decide you want one you can have my interior stuff!

I'm going to decide this weekend. I already took the day off for it.

I am doing June 4th for sure. I plan on doing May 7th but I am hoping the weather is a little better by that time. HPDE in the rain kinda sucked last year.
