"Pre-Drive" of the upcoming Rally
…
Well! Debbie and I
just “pre-drove”
the upcoming rally today.
And, it was a blast!
Of course we won’t be speaking to each other for about a week
, but other than that, we had a lot of fun on this drive.
We never knew there were so many unique, twisty roads in Clark County!
The day started out sunny and ended up cloudy but we were never rained on.
It is obviously that Dave and Ken have spent a lot of time on this event. If you aren’t signed up for it – you should be! It is not to be missed
.
It is highly recommended that you have a navigator to give the directions and make the appropriate notes as you go through the course. Believe, me, both of you will be busy!
You will travel through some urban areas as well as passing through many scenic valleys and farmland. There are twisties, a dark “sleepy-hollow” canyon and a roller-coaster terrain that will definitely put a smile on your face
.
We found the instructions to be easy to follow, but at the same time you had to pay attention to many of the details.
You can’t miss the clues, but you also can’t “read-into” the instructions that which is not there. Ask me how I know….. we (Ahemmmmm) took a slight deviation from the proper route (OK, it was 8 miles!) when communication between the driver and navigator broke down
. ...All right, since she’s not likely to read this, it was HER FAULT!
...But due to my great sense of direction we were able to get back on course and finished in a timely manner.
Don’t miss out on next weekend’s first drive of the season! Sign up now!
