I was listening to an old issue of CarTalk on the plane last night (#1039), and there was a gal looking for advice on a small car to buy for $4K. Click & Clack recommended a Miata, and she gagged. Turns out she used to own an S and tried to explain why a Miata was never going to be in the cards. They couldn't understand her problem... Then they tried to convince her how easy it would be to get a used S for $4K.
