Ive been looking for a stock 02/03 ecu to swap into my car. Ive read there are some beni's for the 00/01's. I found one local, but it has the immobilzer removed, is it a good idea to avoid it. It seems shady to me.

 

It does seem like a good idea to avoid Chris...did you find out the reasoning that the immobilizer was removed?

Ira, he didnt give a reason. I'd be a little hesitant to put it on mine, as my car would then have no immobilizer.

 

Figured we didnt need a new topic just for this..... I've got a friend who's looking for a car. She wants something cheap. 1-1500$ Not looking for anything fancy just some wheels to commute in. Let me know if anyone might know of something around that price range. Would like to find maybe a honda. Civic/integra? not too worried about the body as long as it wont effect the driving. Dents and dings are alright. Manual trans is fine also. taught her the ways myself Anyway let me know
