^^Basically

It was designed from the ground up to be a grip-style "racecar". Balance, weight, engine design, etc etc.
Everything about the S is about cornering efficiently. Drifting is great in certain situations (dirt, for instance) and isnt necessarily faster in many cases, but it looks cool.

often times i wish i had an ap1 just so i can run a shaved bumper with a gears lip, looks so good
