Default Removing stock resonators?

I'm very interested in doing this mod after reading about it. Do you guys think this would be a good idea?

Gavin has done it... and other than intake, it was the only thing different about our cars, and we all know how the dyno's turned out....

a lot of people have done this if you don't wanna spend a little extra cash for the aftermarket exhaust. Frankly, I don't think it makes any difference at all when it comes to making the stock exhaust any louder. I've heard a resonectomy stock exhaust in person before. It cost about $40 to 50 to have it done at any muffler shop.

Yeah, I had it done at portland muffler on my lunch break one day. There is definatly a noticable difference. whenever I ride in Justins car I can tell its quieter, and whenever he rides in mine, He always says its louder...

It is very slight though, just gives it a little growl

I'm sure the cars are much faster without the resonators....

I think i'll try this option before aftermarket an exhaust. I would like an aggressive sound and still able to drive around with my girlfriend. I think they have sensitive ears.
