Because we only had 4 reservations for rafting since the drive plan was posted, and only a few more than that signed up to eventually make reservations, we have opted to change out that drive for one that does not rely on numbers as much (i.e. large parties get a discount for rafting).

A post will be made tonight for a drive to the coast (probably Astoria) and ensuing beach party instead.

With that being said, July has always been our slowest summer month for drives with the smallest turnout for past years. Larry and I have always been a bit curious as to why that is. What do the members think?
