S2000 Homecoming II
I am back from homecoming, it was the time of my life. I headed down with Anthony early in the morning on Thursday, and we did it in one day, 1100 miles!
Taped up!

Gonna be a long day

Met up with a fellow CR owner in Stockton for the drive into the city of angels

After an 18 hour day on 4 hours of sleep, we arrived a little after midnight and a bed had never looked so inviting!

As some of you know, about 30 miles outside of LA, a BMW was "playing" with us on I-5, he proceeded to slow down, come up really close next to me, next thing I know, I see him hop over something, a LOUD bang is heard on my car, and I see him pull off. Subsequently something extremely heavy flew into my door. Dented it pretty bad and even took out some metal!
Hopefully getting it fixed soon.

After that a few locals really took care of me, invited me over, washed the car, found Apex blue touch up paint, buffed and polished the door and made it look presentable for homecoming!
Little tasty In N Out

Honda center

Mike, (thank you!) took us out for Korean food

After dinner we headed back to where the s2k hotel was, and by Friday night, the parking garage was FILLED with s2000's from all over the country. People were all hanging out enjoying themselves

After a 4am start to my morning, my friend and I got back to the hotel to remove the hardtop for the first time on the trip

Had to finish signing the waivers

After that, on to the meeting point where we were segregated by color

I found Brian!

Thanks Brian

Honda brought out some special cars to display for everyone!
Pristine Integra type R!

Some other VIP vehicles came in to start off Homecoming, they were paraded through the crowd.

As a special surprise, Honda did fly out Shigeru Uehara! It was amazing meeting him. For anyone who doesn't know who he is, he is the engineer of the NSX and s2000

Chris getting his radio door signed!

I did as well!

Honda!

After Homecoming ended, all the CR's grouped up for some pics together

Back at the hotel lol, a little partying

The next morning, got up early to attend the HC breakfast

Awesome drive up the coast to the restaurant

BC himeself (organizer of HC2)

Long drive home started with me singing

Last time I was out of the car on the trip, Medford was a nice place!

and home

After 2500 miles, and the weekend of my life, I can't even begin to describe Homecoming or how honored I feel having been able to attend.
I can't believe how genuine and pleasant Uehara san was signature after signature, making sure each was done with time, precision and care.
Motoo, Kevin, Pat, Julius, Mike, Nate, Eric, Jerric, and everyone else, it was great meeting you guys. Thank you for your help. Had a blast hanging out with you guys too!
I hope everyone else that went feels like they had a good time, and for those who missed it, I hope you find my photo chronicle enjoyable
